Dedicated facility integrates UAV propulsion R&D with navigation and remote-control hardening for UAV and UGV platforms
Prague, Czech Republic — 27 August 2026 — Skyline s.r.o., a licensed Czech defence contractor and Tier 1 systems integrator, today formally introduced APEX, its Advanced Propulsion & Electronics Centre of Excellence — a dedicated facility integrating UAV propulsion lifecycle management with navigation and remote-control hardening for both UAV and UGV platforms under one roof.
Positioned in the Liberec Region on the borders of Poland and Germany, APEX gives Skyline direct reach into two of Europe’s largest defence-industrial markets. The region also has an established engineering talent base in mechanical and mechatronic disciplines—the same disciplines APEX depends on.
APEX covers the full engine lifecycle for UAV powerplants — acceptance testing, integration, operational validation, and depot-level MRO — alongside a dedicated lab for GNSS/INS navigation and remote-control link hardening across UAV and UGV platforms, against jamming and spoofing.

The facility supports Skyline’s propulsion roadmap, from the SkyForge 420cc engine through the SkyForge 750cc and more powerful engines in development, built to NATO and EU standards.
